The men’s basketball team will open Sun-Lakes Conference action this week. The Bobcats have won five of their last six games, improving to 6-6 on the season. On Sunday, Omarion Brown scored 23 points to lead PHSC to a 98-88 win over Webber International University JV.

The Bobcats had a buzzer beating win over Johnson University 102-100 last Thursday. Jakeese Kemp hit a three-pointer with 1.5 seconds left in regulation to give the Bobcats their first win of the season.

Our women’s cross-country team claimed the NJCAA/FCSAA DII Region 8 championship for the sixth time in seven years at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee on Friday, October 28, 2022.
Men's and Women's Cross Country
The cross country teams head to the NJCAA Region 8 Championship on Friday, October 28, in Tallahassee. The women's team (ranked 6th) will try to defend their title against rival Daytona State College.
The women’s cross-country team placed seventh at the University of South Florida Invitational on Friday. The Bobcats were first among five other NJCAA programs that participated in the event.
The women’s volleyball team fell to Palm Beach State 3-0 at home on Sunday. Palm Beach leads the South Division with a 4-4 record followed by PHSC (3-6), St. Petersburg (2-5), State College of Florida (2-5) and South Florida State (2-6).
All events were cancelled last week due to Hurricane Ian preparation. The women’s volleyball team will return to action hosting Palm Beach State College on Sunday, October 8. Both teams are on top of the South Division with three wins each. We hope to have a great crowd for this 3 p.m.

The women’s cross-country team placed fifth overall and first among NJCAA teams in the St. Leo Abbey Invitational on Saturday, September 24, 2022. The top five runners averaged 21:15 for the 5K race over the rolling hills of the Abbey golf course.
The Bobcats fell to 5-11 and 2-5 in the conference after losses to State College of Florida (3-1) and Palm Beach State (3-0) on the road.
The women’s volleyball team went 1-2 last week in Sun-Lakes Conference action defeating 20th ranked Lake Sumter State College (3-2), but fell to Florida State College at Jacksonville (3-2) and #15 St. Johns River State College (3-0).

What an exciting weekend as the women’s softball team punched their ticket to Henrico, VA by defeating Florida State College at Jacksonville 5-0 in the NJCAA DII Region 8 Championship game. The best of three series began on Friday with a doubleheader at home.
