Women’s Volleyball Team Loses Against St. Petersburg, Wins Against State College of Florida
The Women’s Volleyball Team had a two-game stretch this week, splitting their matches before they head out for an extended eight-game road trip.
On September 17, PHSC took on St. Petersburg College, losing 3-1 in the late-evening contest.
On September 19, the Lady Bobcats put up a gritty performance against State College of Florida, winning 3-0. The Bobcats have now secured their second conference win of the 2025-26 season. The team stands with a 4-10 overall record and 2-5 conference record.
The team will travel to South Florida State College for their next match on September 23 at 6 p.m. EST.
Women’s Soccer Team Splits Matches Against Trinity Baptist JV & Webber International University JV
The Women’s Soccer Team won their home game match against Trinity Baptist JV 3-0 on Friday, September 19. The Lady Bobcats put up three unanswered goals from the efforts of Annalise Vizza, Ashlynn Knighten and Ali Goines.
On Sunday, September 21, the team traveled to Bryson Park, Florida, to take on Webber International University JV. The Lady Bobcats put up a valiant effort, coming up short and losing the match 4-3.
Annalise Vizza had a standout performance, scoring two goals, while Ashlynn Knighten added one in the afternoon match.
The team will have their next home game of the regular season against Millennia Atlantic University on October 3 at 7 p.m. EST. The game will be held at the Wesley Chapel District Park.
Malik Millet Named FCSAA Male Runner of the Week
PHSC Athletics is proud to announce that Malik Millet was named FCSAA Male Runner of the Week. The redshirt freshman was awarded Tuesday, September 16, for his strong performances in both meets so far this season.
Millet competed in the Swan City XC Opener as the top finisher on the tea
m, leading with a time of 20:28 on the 6k course. A week later, in the Southern Conference, he finished the 8K course with a time of 27:05.
