The defending Region VIII champion, Olivia D'Angelo was the top performer at the Mountain Dew Invite in Gainesville.
Sophomore volleyball player Linsey Christianson from Hudson, Fla. was named NJCAA Region 8 Division II Defensive Player of the Week. Christianson averaged 7.8 digs over nine sets in two matches, recorded a pair of entries into the 25-Dig Club with 31 digs in a five-set win vs.

PHSC baseball alum, Tyler Beck (’17) was selected in the 2019 MLB Draft; he goes to Minnesota Twins in 30th round. Beck pitched at PHSC in 2016 and 2017 before transferring to the University of Tampa.

Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) held their annual Alumni baseball game at the West Campus in New Port Richey. This yearly event brings past players back to their home field for the opportunity to step on the clay one more time.
The Bobcats will open their fall baseball season on Saturday, October 6, 2018 when they host the Orlando Baseball Academy at 11 a.m.
