The defending national champion Pasco-Hernando State College bobcat baseball team is heading back to the national stage as the #4 seed in the 2026 NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series following the official bracket announcement released on Tuesday.
The bobcats secured their second consecutive trip to the NJCAA DII World Series after capturing the South District Championship earlier this month. The tournament will take place May 23-30 in Enid, Oklahoma.PHSC enters the tournament looking to defend its 2025 national title and continue one of the most successful stretches in program history.
“This team continues to demonstrate resilience, discipline and a championship mindset,” said PHSC President Eric Hall, Ed.D. “Earning the #4 seed in a national tournament is tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of the dedication of our student-athletes, coaches and supporters. We are incredibly proud of our bobcats as they once again represent PHSC on the national stage.”
