Women’s Volleyball Team 1-3 In Busy 4-Game Home Stretch
The Women’s Volleyball Team had a busy week with mixed results as the Bobcats had a four-game home stretch.
On September 3, the Bobcats lost 3-1 to the Monroe University Mustangs.
On September 4, they won their second 2025-26 season game, 3-0, against Trinity College of Florida, their first shutout win.
On September 6, they lost their first home conference game, 3-0, to the No. 8 ranked Pensacola State College.
On September 7, they lost their afternoon match, 3-0, to the No. 9 ranked Gulf Coast State College Commodores, ending the week with a 2-7 overall record and 0-2 conference record.
Their next match is Wednesday, September 10, on the West Campus - Building K against Lake Sumter State College at 6 p.m. EST.
Women’s Soccer Team Wins Home Opener 4-0 Against Webber University JV
The Women’s Soccer Team secured their second win of the season against Webber University JV in Sunday’s home game at Wesley Chapel District Park. The Lady Bobcats the Warriors 4-0 in Sunday’s contest. They now stand with a 2-1-1 record as of September 8.
Notably, Ali Goines had a multi-goal game, scoring 2 goals. Meanwhile, Claudia Montealegre and Jackie Cuevas scored one goal each to seal the deal for the Lady Bobcats.
The team will travel for their next game of the regular season against Pensacola State College on September 12 at 6 p.m. EST.
Men’s & Women’s Cross-Country Teams Start Season Strong In Swan City XC Opener
The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Teams completed their first meet of the season at the Swan City XC Opener in Lakeland, Florida.
The Men’s Cross Country Team was the highest ranked among junior colleges in Saturday’s event. Individually, Pasco-Hernando placed second, third, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth. As a result, the team put up eight top-10 finishes among NJCAA junior colleges.
The top finisher for the Men’s Cross Country Team was Malik Millet, who produced a time of 20:28 in the 6K.
The Women’s Cross Country Team also did well with the top finisher for the team being Issabella Quintan, who produced a time of 16:08 during the 4K.
Both teams will travel to Huntsville, Alabama, for the Southern Showcase on September 12.
