Men’s Basketball Team Wins Fifth Straight Game, Improves to 8-12 Overall Record

The Men’s Basketball Team continued the upward trend last week with wins on Tuesday and Thursday. The Bobcats now have won their fifth straight game with conference play right around the corner. 

On January 13, PHSC took on St. Leo University JV, winning 119-56. With the victory, the Bobcats currently have six wins with a 30+ point differential. 
The following game, on January 15, the Bobcats secured another home win against Trinity College of Florida. PHSC beat the Tigers in a 99-78 final. Players like Malcolm Warthen (averaged 12.5 points per game), Joseph Stosh (scored 211 points thus far), and Kamar Plain (produced 21 assists), before Thursday‘s contest, contributed to their decisive win. 

Assistant Coach Dylan Burkhamer expressed the team’s key changes for this season, including limiting turnovers and better transitional play, leading to steady improvement as the season has progressed. 

The Bobcats will now face FSC Elite on Wednesday, January 17. The game is scheduled for 6 p.m. EST.

PHSC hosted an eventful Alumni Game on January 17 at Withlacoochee River Electric Co-Op Park, located on the West Campus.

Men’s Baseball Team to Participate in 10-Inning  Scrimmage Against Florida Southern and Compete in 2026 SCF Legends Classic on Busy Week

The Bobcats will have a 10-inning scrimmage against Florida Southern today at Henley Field. Game has an expected start time of 5 p.m. EST. 
In addition to the scrimmage, PHSC will also participate in the 2026 SCF Legends Classic. On Friday, January 23, the Bobcats will face Northwest Florida at 5 p.m. EST, followed by games against Miami Dade at 3:30 p.m. EST and SCF at 6:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, January 24.
