Men’s Baseball Team Gives Back By Creating A Community Garden

The Men’s Baseball Team returned to the community this past week by volunteering and cleaning up a community garden at Summer Lake Villas. They diligently pulled weeds and added fresh soil for gardening. 

Women’s Volleyball Rallies Against South Florida State & Palm Beach State, Loses to Indian River State College

The Women’s Volleyball Team are three games into their extensive road trip and have produced a successful turnaround halfway through the season. 

On September 23, PHSC took on South Florida State College, winning 3-0 in the late-evening contest. 

On September 26, the Lady Bobcats put up a bounceback performance against Palm Beach State College, winning 3-2. 

On September 27, the team fell to Indian River State College 3-2, ending the week with two wins and one loss. The Bobcats stand with a 6-11 overall record and 4-6 conference record. 

The team will travel to Gulf Coast State College for their next match on October 3, at 4 p.m. CDT / 5 p.m. EST.  

Men’s & Women’s Cross Country Team Continues Progress at FSU Pre-Regional Meet

The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Team traveled to Tallahassee, Florida to compete with colleges from across the nation at the FSU Pre-Regional Meet. 

The Lady Bobcats put up a fair contest, securing a fourth place position among junior colleges. Additionally, the team finished 32nd overall. Notably, Isabella Quinlan led the Bobcats with a time of 25:08 on the 6K course. 

Meanwhile, the Men’s Cross Country Team also put on a respectable showing, finishing 27th overall at the meet. Malik Milett led the Bobcats on the 8K course with a time of 27:58.
