Women's Softball
The women’s softball team (21-13, 0-0) had a week off as rained cancelled the Sun-Lakes Conference opener against Florida State College at Jacksonville on Saturday. The team returns to action hosting Thomas University JV today (Monday, April 4) at 1 p.m. and Florida State College at Jacksonville at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, April 5. The two teams will meet in Jacksonville on Saturday, April 9 for a 1 p.m. doubleheader. The winner of the FSCJ series will host a best of three series April 22-23 to determine who advances to Richmond, Virginia for the District Tournament.
Men's Baseball
The men’s baseball team (28-12, 4-2) won three of four non-conference games this past week. After suffering a 6-2 loss to IMG Academy on Tuesday, the Bobcats bounced back to win three games over A3 Academy by scores of 5-1, 16-5 and 9-2 this past weekend. The team will travel to play the University of Tampa JV on Tuesday night (April 5) before hosting Florida State College at Jacksonville (18-14, 4-4) in three crucial Sun-Lakes Conference games on Friday, April 8 (6 p.m.) and Saturday, April 9 (12 and 3 p.m. - doubleheader). The winner of the conference will host the tournament April 28-30.
