Women’s Volleyball
The women’s volleyball team secured their divisional triumph in a thrilling encounter, conquering the State College of Florida with a hard-fought 3-2 victory (25-21, 21-25, 25-20, 24-26, 15-11) in Bradenton on Wednesday, October 18. Their conference regular season concluded on a high note as they triumphed over South Florida State College with a score of 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 23-25, 25-15) on Friday, October 20 at the West Campus. Hillsborough Community College will visit for the home finale in non-conference action on Tuesday, October 24, with the match scheduled for 6 p.m. Mark your calendars, as the Sun-Lakes Conference tournament is set to take place from November 3-4 at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth.
Women’s and Men’s Cross County
The women’s and men’s cross county teams are gearing up for the FCSAA/NJCAA Region 8 Championship on Tuesday, October 24, in Tallahassee. The men's cross country team, currently ranked 11th nationally, faces a formidable challenge from the 4th-ranked Daytona State College. On the women's side, our 10th-ranked team is primed to defend their title against a strong Daytona State squad, which holds the 8th position in the national rankings. Expect an exhilarating race as Florida Gateway College (#15) joins the fray, aiming to disrupt the dominance of the top two teams.
Men’s Basketball
The men's basketball team is set to host two exciting scrimmages this week. Join us as the Bobcats take on Keep Striving Prep on Monday, October 23 followed by a matchup with the Florida Sports Academy on Thursday, October 26. Both games tip-off at p.m., promising a dose of thrilling sports action at the West Campus.
