Women’s Cross-Country
The women’s cross-country team was ranked 12th in the latest NJCAA DII National Poll. The team is preparing for the Regional Championship in Tallahassee on October 29, 2021.
Women's Volleyball
The women's volleyball team split last week's matches, falling to Lake Sumter State College 3-2 and defeating St. Petersburg College 3-0. This week the team will host top-ranked St. Johns River State at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 13. Congratulations to Jayla Butler for being named DII Volleyball Setter of the Week. The freshman from Tampa had 36 assists in each of the wins over Florida Gateway College and Florida State College at Jacksonville during the voting period.
Women's Soccer
Bobcats women's soccer team was back in action, falling 11-0 at Daytona State College on Saturday, October 9, 2021. The first home match is scheduled for Saturday, October 16 at 3 p.m. against Atlantis University.
Men’s Baseball
The men’s baseball team will host Hillsborough Community College on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1 p.m. in a doubleheader.
Men’s Basketball
And, looking ahead - The men’s basketball team season opener is scheduled for November 2, 2021 against Trinity College.
In other Bobcat athletics news, Athletics Director Steve Winterling said, "We are happy to announce that the Musco Lights are up at the WREC Baseball Park. The eight LED poles were erected this past week and look terrific. We hope to have the power hooked up soon so multiple campus events can take place at the park. Exciting things continue to happen in the athletic department."
