Women’s Volleyball
The Bobcats had an incredible evening at the West Campus Fitness Center on Friday night in front of the largest crowd of the season, said Steve Winterling, Athletics Director. The women’s volleyball team upset undefeated and first place Gulf Coast State College 3 sets to 1. The Commodores entered the match 11-2 overall and 7-0 in the conference while the Bobcats were 9-9 and 4-3. "The Bobcats were coming off a two-game road losing streak and the win put them in position to finish in second place," said Winterling. The team will host Lake Sumter State on Tuesday and wrap up the regular season hosting St. Johns River State on Wednesday. Both matches start at 6 p.m.
Women’s Softball
The women’s softball team (11-15) were off this week and return to action hosting Webber University JV on April 1st in a 2 p.m. doubleheader.
Men’s Basketball
PHSC men’s basketball team (6-10) lost at home to third-ranked Florida Southwestern State College. The team will host St. Petersburg College on Monday and travel to St. Petersburg on Thursday for 7 p.m. games. And, on Saturday, March 27, the Bobcats travel to Florida Gateway College for the NJCAA Region 8 DII championship. The winner will advance to the District Tournament in North Carolina on April 8.
Men's Baseball
Bobcat baseball (17-17) reached the .500 mark by winning six of its last seven games. The team will host TNXL Academy (Tuesday), Inspiration Academy (Thursday) and Santa Fe College (Friday). All games will begin at 3 p.m. They will wrap up the week hosting State College of Florida at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 27.
