Men’s Basketball
There was a lot of great action at Pasco-Hernando State College this past week as the Bobcats are in full swing for 2021. The men’s basketball team opened up region action by defeating Florida Gateway College 64-62 Saturday afternoon at home. The team improved to 2-4 and will host Pensacola Christian College at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Women’s Volleyball
The women’s volleyball team (1-4) played a strong match at #3 state-ranked Hillsborough Community College falling 3-1 (26-24, 11-25, 22-25, 18-25) on Thursday and fell short to #6 ranked Santa Fe State College in a thrilling match 3-2 (25-20, 19-25, 25-23, 19-25, 13-15) at home. Bobcat Volleyball will host Daytona State College on Wednesday, February 3, at 6 p.m.
Women’s Softball
Women’s softball (2-2) lost two one-run games at Daytona State on Saturday. The Bobcats fell 11-10 in 10 innings in game one and 3-2 in game two. The Bobcats will travel to Webber University on Wednesday, February 3 for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
Men’s Baseball
Men’s baseball is currently 2-4 after falling to Polk State College 8-3 last Wednesday. Bob Bade threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the first baseball game played on PHSC's new Astroturf. The team split a doubleheader with Tallahassee Community College on Saturday. The Bobcats scored four runs in the bottom of the 7th to rally for a 6-5 win in game one. TCC came back to win the second game 3-0. And, at home on Sunday, Bobcat baseball fell 4-9 to #1 ranked College of Central Florida.
