It was another great performance by the women’s cross country team at the Alligator Lake Invitational in Lake City, Fla. on Sept. 18, 2020. Despite wet and muddy conditions, the Bobcats outran Daytona State College and seven other college teams.
Freshman Jensen Mayer (21:48) and sophomore Sydney Stoltzfoos (22:07) placed third and fourth overall to lead the team. Sophomore Katerina Dobkowski (22:53), freshmen Emily Jenkins (23:31) and Jessica Perez (23:38) placed seventh, fifteenth and sixteenth to round out the scoring for the Bobcats. The fifth-ranked team will travel to the Flrunners.com Invitational on Sept. 25 for a 7:20 a.m. meet.
