Women's Volleyball

The women's volleyball team was 9th ranked Gulf Coast State College and 12th ranked Pensacola State College this past week. On Thursday evening, September 21, the Bobcats swept Gulf Coast State 3-0 by scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-21. Kylie Ciani had 16 kills and Kiersten Osborne had 18 assists to lead the Bobcats. On Friday, September 22, the Bobcats lost a tough five setter to Pensacola State 3-2 by scores of 25-22, 17-25, 25-19, 22-25 and 12-15. Ciani once again led the team with 20 kills and Haley Ebbert had 27 assists. The Bobcats now lead the South Division with a 4-2 record followed by Palm Beach State (4-3) and State College of Florida (3-3). The team will be on the road this week with matches at Lake Sumter State College on Thursday, September 28, Florida State College at Jacksonville on Saturday, September 30 and St. Johns River on Sunday, October 1.

Women's Soccer 

The women’s soccer team defeated Florida Premier 7-0 in a scrimmage last Tuesday. Riana McAdam had three goals in the match to lead the team. The Bobcats will host a crucial two-game set with Pensacola State College at Wesley Chapel District Park. The first match is Friday, September 29 at 4 p.m. and Saturday, September 30 is scheduled for 11 a.m. The Bobcats must defeat PSC twice to advance to the District Tournament in Spartanburg, South Carolina (Region 10) on October 28.

Women and Men's Cross County 

The women and men’s cross country will be back in action at the Florida State University Invitational on Friday, September 29. The women are ranked 7th and the men 9th in the NJCAA DII Cross Country poll released on September 20.

Women's Softball 

The softball team will open their fall scrimmage season on Saturday, September 30 hosting the SnakeBite in a doubleheader starting at noon. The team is led by first year head coach Jeri Loffler. Loffler was a standout player at PHSC and had served as the assistant coach to Steve Mumaw, who retired after last season.

Men's Baseball 

The baseball team continued their fall season hosting Florida Southwestern College last Wednesday, September 20. Hillsborough Community College will visit the Bobcats on Friday, October 6 in a 11 a.m. doubleheader.
