Cross Country

The women’s cross-country team placed seventh at the University of South Florida Invitational on Friday. The Bobcats were first among five other NJCAA programs that participated in the event. PHSC was led by Gabby Marshall who finished 34th overall with a 5K time of 20:57. She was followed by Shelby Viseur (21:07), Mia DeRonda (21:38), Maranda Hildebrand (21:49) and Alexi Amer (22:01).

Men's Cross Country

The men’s 8K, PHSC finished in ninth place out of 17 colleges. The team was led by Luis Cruzado (28:08), Ronnie Aeschleman (28:26) and Tom Palamar (28:38).

Both cross country teams will have this week off to prepare for the NJCAA Region 8 Championship to be held Friday, October 28th in Tallahassee.

Women's Volleyball

In women’s volleyball, the Bobcats lost a tough match to St. Petersburg College 3-2 last Wednesday and South Florida (3-1) on Saturday. The team plays an important match hosting State College of Florida tonight (Monday, 10/17) at 6 p.m. before wrapping up the regular season hosting South Florida State College on Friday, October 21 at 6 p.m.

In Other Athletics News: The men's baseball and women's softball programs had media day this past week in preparation of their upcoming seasons.
