Women’s and Men’s Cross Country
The women’s and men’s cross country teams wrapped up the 2023 season by competing in the NJCAA Half Marathon Championships in Huntsville, AL on Tuesday, November 14. The women’s team secured a 9th place finish out of 22 DI/DII programs, with Sara Ashley leading the way. The men's team, led by Tom Palamar, finished 12th out of 23 Division I/II programs, setting a new school record.
Men's Basketball
The men's basketball team (1-5, 0-0) defeated Ave Maria University JV 87-83 on Wednesday, November 15 at the West Campus. Xavier Gordon-Somers led the team with 19 points followed by Tyson Maxam (18 pts) and TJ King (16 pts). On Thursday, November 16, powerhouse Tallahassee Community College defeated the Bobcats 92-56 at the West Campus. Rico Thompson was the top scorer with 14 points followed by Xavier Gordon-Somers scoring 13 points. On Saturday, November 18, the team traveled to St. Petersburg College falling 57-46. Hillsborough Community College will visit the West Campus Physical Fitness Center on Tuesday, November 21 at 6 p.m.
