Women and Men's Cross Country
The cross country team wrapped up their season by competing in the NJCAA Half Marathon Championship this past Tuesday, November 12, in Richmond, VA.
The women’s team finished second among the Division II programs and ninth overall as twenty colleges participated in the 13.1-mile race. Nathalia Mallo placed 29th overall with an outstanding time of 1:32:46 followed by Emelyn Lacour (1:37:48) and Alanta Lofton (1:39:40).
The men’s team placed third among DII programs and eighteenth overall in the twenty-seven team field. Dylan Powell placed 85th leading the Bobcats with a time of 1:17:36 followed by Nehemiah Morales (1:17:44) and Jaime Candelaria (1:20:04).
Men's Basketball
The men's basketball team (2-3) fell to Hillsborough Community College 95-46 and Santa Fe College (76-64) after defeating Florida Sports Coast Academy 83-66 earlier in the week. The team will host Trinity College at 6 p.m. Monday, November 18, before traveling the Ave Maria University JV on Tuesday. The Bobcats will host St. Petersburg College on Thursday at 6 p.m.
