Women's Softball
The women’s softball team lost in the Sun-Lakes Conference finals to Lake Sumter State College. After falling to LSSC 5-1 in the double-elimination tournament, the Bobcats bounced back to eliminate St. Johns River 8-4 and South Florida State 5-2. In a rematch with LSSC, the team won an exciting 3-1 game before falling 3-2 on Saturday, May 6. Bobcats who made the All-Tournament team were Alexis Joy, Savannah Lee, Emily Proctor and Joyce Bloome. Earlier in the tournament All-FCSAA honors went to Jade Canady, Taylor Tremmel, Meghan Kimery and Emily Proctor. The team finished the season 27-20.
Men's Baseball
The men’s baseball team didn’t fair as well by going 1-2 in the Sun-Lakes Conference tournament. In the tournament opener, the Bobcats came back to defeat South Florida State 10-9. In game two, the Bobcats led St. Johns River 1-0 heading into the seventh inning before the Vikings put up a seven spot in the 7th and we eventually fell 15-4. In the elimination game, Palm Beach State came out swinging and won 15-1 in six innings to end our season. St. Johns River ended up defeating PBSC to win the tournament. It was a disappointing end to the season, but the Bobcats can be proud to have won the regular season conference title. Aiden Corn was the lone represented on the All-Tournament team while Aiden Corn, Kohl Robertson, Chay Yeager and Casey Daiss were named to the All-FCSAA team. The final record was 39-16.
