Men's Baseball

The men’s baseball team (25-11, 4-2) took a crucial series over Palm Beach State College (24-10, 3-3) by winning two of three games this past weekend. The Bobcats lost 5-4 in 10 innings on Friday before bouncing back to win 7-6 and 4-0 on Saturday. Both teams are currently battling for home field advantage for the Sun-Lakes Conference Tournament later next month. They will return to conference action against Florida State College of Jacksonville on Friday April 8. This week the Bobcats host IMG Academy at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29 and have a weekend series against A3 Academy Friday at Noon and Saturday - a doubleheader - Noon. PHSC Men's Baseball team is currently ranked 18th in the latest NJCAA DII National Poll.

Women's Baseball

The women’s softball team (21-13, 0-0) will open Division II play against Florida State College at Jacksonville (15-19, 0-0) on Saturday, April 2 at home.  The doubleheader will begin at noon and will be the first of four games between the two colleges. The Bobcats will travel to Jacksonville for the other two games on April 9. The winner of the series will host the NJCAA DII Region 8 Tournament on April 22-23. This past week the Bobcats defeated Morton College by scores of 8-4 and 14-2. Both the men and women were ranked nationally in the latest NJCAA DII National Poll.  PHSC Women's Softball team is currently ranked 14th in the latest NJCAA DII National Poll.
