Men's Baseball
The men’s baseball team (18-15, 10-5) currently ranked 13th in the latest polls took two of three games over 11th ranked St. Johns River State (22-14, 8-7) over the weekend. The Bobcats defeated the Vikings 14-5 in seven innings at WREC Park on Friday, March 21 before splitting a doubleheader in Palatka on Saturday winning 8-2 and falling 8-9. The team will host South Florida State College on Friday at 6 p.m. before traveling to South Florida for a Saturday doubleheader.
Women's Softball
The women’s softball team (13-19, 6-9) hosted 16th ranked St. Johns River State (30-13, 12-3) in a three-game set this past week. The Bobcats lost two hard fought games to the Vikings on Thursday, March 21 by scores of 6-2 and 3-1. In one of the most exciting games of the season, the Bobcats rallied on Sunday, March 22 to defeat the Vikings 3-2. Aryanna Eliopoulos drove in Riley Collins and Jessica Halford with a one-out double for the win in the bottom of the ninth inning. The team will travel to Florida State College at Jacksonville on Friday, March 29 for a 2 p.m. conference game before hosting FSCJ in a 1 p.m. doubleheader at the West Campus.
