Women’s Volleyball

PHSC women’s volleyball has been on fire winning seven of their last ten matches and moving into a tie for second place in the Sun-Lakes Conference. The Bobcats are currently 9-8 overall and 4-2 in the conference. The team will travel to Lake Sumter State College on Wednesday, March 17 for a 6 p.m. match before taking on first place Gulf Coast State College on Friday at 6 p.m.

Men’s Baseball

The men’s baseball team is currently 12-17 and continues to play tough NJCAA D1 opponents. The team fell to top ranked College of Central Florida 2-1 in Ocala last Monday, but bounced back to defeat Seminole State College 12-10 in Lake Mary on Friday.  The team hosted nationally ranked Delgado Community College this weekend.  The two teams split a doubleheader on Saturday falling 7-2 and winning 7-6.  Another split doubleheader  (5-4 and 4-5) on Sunday tied the two teams for the weekend.

Women’s Softball

The women’s softball team is currently 11-15 losing three of four games this week. The team fell to Florida State College at Jacksonville 7-6 and 5-4 before splitting a doubleheader at Thomas University JV on Saturday. The team is scheduled to host Webber University JV on Thursday at 2 p.m.

Men’s Basketball

The men’s basketball team fell to 6-9 after falling to NJCAA DII opponent Florida Gateway College and McDill Air Force Base. The Bobcats host DI Florida Southwestern State College (FSSC) on Wednesday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m.  FSWC is currently ranked fourth in the latest Region 8 poll.
