Men’s Basketball 

The men's basketball season came to an end with a 105-91 loss to Palm Beach at the NJCAA DII tournament in Lake City. Jakeese Kemp poured in 26 points to lead all scorers in the game.  NJCAA DII All-Region selection Nirobi Peeler added 24 points and Omarion Brown dropped in 15 points to round out the top scorers. Peeler finished as the second leading scorer in the conference averaging 18.2 points per game. The team finishes the season 9-15.  

Women’s Softball

The women's softball team improved to 14-6 and is currently on a nine-game winning streak.  Taylor Tremmel has been the hot hitter batting .470 with three doubles, five triples, seven home runs and twenty-seven RBIs on the season. Tremmel was named DII Softball Player of the Week on Tuesday, February 28 after batting .733 (11 for 15) with one triple, four home runs and eight RBIs in four games. The team travels to Cocoa Beach on Tuesday, March 14 to face Aquinas College and Bryant & Stratton College (WI) before returning to host St. Petersburg College on Saturday, March 18. Sun-Lakes Conference play will begin on Tuesday, March 21.  

Men's Baseball 

The men’s baseball team is currently 19-7 overall and 7-2 in the conference.  The Bobcats are tied for first place with St. Johns River State College. Freshman Kohl Robertson was named DII Player of the Week on Tuesday, March 7 after batting .571 with three home runs and seven RBIs in four games. Robertson leads the team with .429 average followed by Aiden Corn (.380) and Nick Plaisted (.370). The team will host Hudson Valley Community College Tuesday, March 14 at 7 p.m. before heading to play conference foe Lake Sumter State College on Friday, March 17. LSSC visits the Bobcats on Saturday, March 18 for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
