Men's Baseball

The men’s baseball team continues to lead the Sun-Lakes Conference with a 7-2 record after winning two of three games from Florida State College at Jacksonville over the weekend. The Bobcats took the first game of the series 8-2 on Friday before splitting the Saturday doubleheader falling 4-0 in game one and taking the second game 5-1.  The team will host Lake Sumter State College on Friday, March 15 at 6 p.m. before traveling to Lake Sumter for a Saturday doubleheader.

Women's Softball

The women’s softball team remains tied for second place in the Sun-Lakes Conference with a 5-4 record after losing two of three games against Florida Gateway College. The Bobcats took the Friday game in Lake City 6-4 before falling in the home doubleheader on Saturday by scores of 13-6 and 14-3. This week the team begins a three-game set with Lake Sumter State College and will host the 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, March 16. Congratulations to Valeria Rolon to being named DII Player of the Week for her .909 batting average (10 for 11) on February 29.

Men's Basketball Team

The men’s basketball team saw their season come to an end falling to Sun-Lakes Conference champion Florida State College at Jacksonville by a score of 107-56. FSCJ went on to win the FCSAA DII/NJCAA Region 8 Championship in Lake Worth. Congratulations to freshman Xavier Gordon-Somers who was selected to the DII All-FCSAA/All-Region 8 team.
