Men's Basketball
The men’s basketball team (14-11, 1-4) lost home court advantage for the NJCAA DII Region 8 championship game after falling to Florida Gateway College 85-57 on Friday night. FGC has won four of five conference matchups with one regular season game remaining. The winner of the championship (Feb. 26th) advances to the South Atlantic District B Tournament in NC on March 5th. Last Tuesday the team defeated Florida College JV 93-44. This week the Bobcats host RAAD Sports Academy on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
Women's Softball
The women’s softball team (5-5) split a doubleheader with St. Johns River State College on Saturday falling in the first game 3-2 and winning the second game 2-1. The Bobcats will host Daytona State College today and St. Petersburg College on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
Men's Baseball
The men’s baseball team (4-7) ended their three-game losing streak by coming back to defeat Polk State College 6-5 in Winter Haven on Saturday. Earlier in the week, the Bobcats defeated Lake Sumter 9-3 in the first night game of the year, but fell to State College of Florida 11-5, Polk State College 7-4 and A3 Academy 8-4. The team will travel to Hillsborough Community College on Tuesday before hosting State College of Florida on Wednesday at 5 p.m. and Polk State College on Friday at 1 p.m.
