Men's Baseball
The men’s baseball team stayed hot, winning three of four games to improve to 7-3 on the season. After suffering a road loss at State College of Florida 11-7, the Bobcats bounced back to defeat St. Petersburg College 8-0 in Clearwater before returning home to defeat State College of Florida 5-4 and A3 Academy 17-3 over the weekend. The team begins a three-game set against Florida Southwestern State College this weekend. The Friday game will be played in Ft. Myers and Saturday’s home doubleheader will start at 1 p.m.
Men's Basketball
The men’s basketball team fell to 9-13 overall and 0-6 in the conference after dropping two games this week. The team lost an exciting 100-93 overtime game at Palm Beach State College on Wednesday. Sophomore Seth Grimshaw’s layup as regulation time expired sent the game to overtime, but Palm Beach rallied to pull away down the stretch. Jakeese Kemp led all scorers 23 points in the game. On Saturday in Lake City the Bobcats fell 101-82 and were led by Nirobi Peeler’s 22 points. The team will host Palm Beach State College on Saturday, February 18 at 2 p.m.
