Men's Basketball

The Bobcats dropped both of their conference games this week. They fell to Florida State College at Jacksonville, 92-76, on Wednesday, February 5. The team then suffered a home loss in their Saturday matinee against Florida Gateway College on February 9, 89-76.

PHSC returns to action on Wednesday, February 12, at Palm Beach State College at 6 p.m. The team will then travel to Jacksonville for a rematch against Florida State College at Jacksonville on Saturday, February 15, at 2 p.m.
 

Men's Baseball

The Bobcats opened the week with a close game against State College of Florida in Bradenton, falling 6-5 on Tuesday night, February 4. PHSC carried its winning momentum into the weekend, securing a 7-0 shutout victory over St. Petersburg College on Friday, February 7, followed by a doubleheader sweep against the Titans on Saturday, winning 12-1 in five innings and 7-0.

PHSC returns home on Tuesday, February 11, to face State College of Florida at 6 p.m. The Cats will continue their homestand with a three-game weekend slate, taking on A3 Academy on Friday, February 14, at 6 p.m. and again on Saturday, February 15, at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Michael Saverese earned his second consecutive FCSAA Division II Region 8 Pitcher of the Week honor after a six-inning, no-hit performance against Polk State during the week of January 26–February 2. Across three starts and 16.2 innings pitched, Saverese has maintained a perfect 0.00 ERA with 23 strikeouts and has only given up 3 hits.

Women's Softball

The Bobcats swept their doubleheader against St. Petersburg College on Tuesday, February 4, winning 8-7 and 5-4. PHSC returns to action on Tuesday, February 11, for another doubleheader against St. Petersburg College at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The Bobcats will then travel to Daytona State for a doubleheader on Thursday, February 13, at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
