PHSC Athletics was out and about in the community this past weekend to help clean Moon Lake road. PHSC Athletics has been a member of the Pasco County ADOPT-A-ROAD program for a number of years helping keep Pasco county roads clean. Special thank you to Amy Anderson and Dave Maylor for joining our student athletes and helping out.

Men's Baseball

The #1 ranked Bobcats (43-10 Overall; 27-3 Sun-Lakes Conference) opened the week on Thursday, April 24, with a home win against Florida State College at Jacksonville, 10-0 in six innings. The Bobcats would close out the regular season on Friday, April 24 against the Manta Rays with a pair of wins, 10-0 in five innings and 8-4. 

The Bobcats wrapped the 2025 spring regular season as the #1 team at the Division II level in the NJCAA, featuring a 43-10 overall record and a 27-3 Sun Lakes Conference record. The program saw multiple historic moments throughout the 2025 season, including their first ever #1 ranking, the highest ranking in program history.

OF Clay Thompson secured two single-season records, including becoming the program leader in runs (74) and stolen bases (54). Michael Savarese also garnered a record-breaking season, tying for first for the most single-season wins in program history with 11 and 112 strikeouts, which is the third most and only trails Frankie Sanders' 1994 record of 124.

The Bobcats return to action on Thursday for the start of the FCSAA D-2 Region 8 State Tournament. The Bobcats will host the tournament for the fourth straight season since the bracket style format debuted in 2022 and enter as the #1 seed in the bracket, playing on Thursday against the #4 seed, Lake-Sumter State College at 2 p.m. All games for the tournament will be broadcast on the FCSAA Digital Network.

Women's Softball

The Bobcats (30-26 Overall; 15-15 Sun-Lakes Conference) dropped their Tuesday, April 22, doubleheader to Florida State College at Jacksonville, 3-1 and 3-2 in 10 innings. The Cats would split against South Florida State College on the road with a 5-3 loss in Game 1 and a 15-5 win in Game 2.

The Bobcats finished the season at 30-26 overall and 15-15 in the conference. Iriana Diaz finished the season ranked 4 in the Sun Lakes Conference in home runs with 9 during the season while, Sydney Klein finished with 100 strikeouts and 14 wins.

The #3-seeded Bobcats return to action on Thursday, May 1, against the #2-seeded Lake-Sumter State College for the start of the FCSAA NJCAA D-2 Region 8 State Tournament in Palatka, Fla., home of St. Johns River State, at 7 p.m. All games will be broadcasted on the FCSAA Digital Network.

Women's Flag Football

The Bobcats (1-16; 0-4) finished out their season on Saturday, April 26 against Daytona State with a loss, 19-0.

The Bobcats wrap up their inaugural season, 1-16 overall, 0-4 in the conference. The Bobcats had two players featured on the 2025 All-Conference team this season, Peyton Knettel-King, WR/S, and Carolyn Parker, R. 

At WR, Knettel-King finished with 70 receptions for 752 yards and eight touchdowns and was credited with one receiving extra point. At safety, Knettel-King had 58 tackles and recorded 21 pass break-ups with seven interceptions. Parker ended the season with 22 sacks and 33 tackles and was credited with one pass break-up.
