Men's Baseball
The #1 ranked Bobcats (40-10 Overall; 24-3 Sun-Lakes Conference) opened the week with a home win against #10 Florida SouthWestern State College on Tuesday night, April 15, 4-0. The Bobcats would continue their winning ways on Friday afternoon, April 18, against #13 St. Johns River State College, 7-1. PHSC would split their Saturday slate against the Vikings on Saturday with an 11-0 loss in Game 1 and a 12-7 win in Game 2.
Riley Fisher earned his first career FCSAA DII Pitcher of the Week honor last week following his five inning complete game shutout performance against Palm Beach State College. Fisher would end the afternoon with nine strikeouts and only allowed four hits.
The Bobcats are back at home beginning Thursday, April 24 against Florida State College at Jacksonville at 7 p.m. The Cats stay at home on Friday, April 25 against the Manta Rays at 12 & 3 p.m. to wrap up the regular season.
Women's Softball
The Bobcats (29-23 Overall; 14-12 Sun-Lakes Conference) opened the week with a sweep over State College of Florida, 7-4 and 12-0, on Tuesday night. The Cats would split against Lake-Sumter State College at home, 3-0 loss in Game 1 and 7-5 win in Game 2.
The Bobcats have officially clinched a spot in the Sun Lakes Conference Tournament, which will take place at St. Johns River State College from May 1 through May 3.
The Bobcats return to action on Tuesday, April 22, on the road against Florida State College at Jacksonville at 4 and 6 p.m. The Cats return to action on Friday, April 26 against South Florida State College at 1 and 3 p.m to wrap up the regular season.
Women's Flag Football
The Bobcats (1-15; 0-4) fell in the team’s season finale against the University of Tampa, 13-12, on Friday afternoon.
The Bobcats return to action on Saturday, April 26, against Daytona State College for the FCSAA Conference Tournament at Noon.
