Weekend Wrap-up - August 30, 2021 - The cross-country team traveled to Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee for the Tallahassee Community College XC Open. Friday night heavy thunderstorms led to a Saturday morning soggy course on Saturday morning. The 75-degree temperature with 96% humidity led to a soggy course on Saturday morning. That didn’t stop the Bobcats from winning the meet with a 5K team average of 23:05 over four FCSAA colleges in the field. Kylie Kanaar finished second overall in a time of 21:52 followed by Gabrielle Marshall (4th, 22:33), Katerina Dobkowski (7th, 23:10), Meadow Millet (12th, 23:51) and Jessica Perez (13th, 23:58). The team will return to action at the University of Florida Mountain Dew Invitational on September 11, 2021.
The women’s volleyball team traveled to Florida State College in Jacksonville on Friday, losing a hard-fought match 3-2. The Bobcats bounced back on Saturday defeating Florida Gateway College in Lake City 3-1. The team competes on the road at St. Petersburg College on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 and Hillsborough Community College on Friday, September 3, 2021. Both matches begin at 6 p.m.
