Program History

The PHSC women’s fast pitch softball program began in 1994 with the hiring of current Head Coach Tom Ryan who has established a well respected and competitive program.

The program has an impressive history with 10 post season appearances, four straight seasons of forty wins or more (1997-2000), State Runner Up (1999), and most recently 2011 Region X District P Champions with a fifth place finish at the National Tournament.

Over the years, players have received athletic recognition through NJCAA Player of the Week honors and selection to All-conference, state and regional teams. Also, many have received athletic scholarships to four year programs.

PHSC's women's softball program is proud of its academic success, boasting several players having received Academic All America recognition by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.
